This project was created in May 2022, during a COVID lockdown in my city. With reduced human activity, wildlife in my neighborhood became more active. I began to notice a small bridge near an artificial lake, where each morning a gathering of birds and small mammals would come to drink. Over time, that bridge became a source of joy as I watched various animals come and go.

The experience shifted how I approach storytelling about wildlife. While advocating for wildlife conservation in distant places like Africa might feel out of reach for many, noticing a sparrow visiting the balcony is much simpler. The peace and joy these small encounters bring help foster a deeper connection with nature. True care often begins with these moments. Instead of tackling the grand theme of wildlife conservation, this project tells a lighthearted story about a fox. Perhaps the next time you see a fox, it will spark a little joy in your heart.
